To honor my chivarious gesture (and because M & K are damn nice people) they sent me a surprise!

I highly suggest this book as perfect for your coffee table. Or if you don’t drink coffee, you could at least purchase it so to understand that the subject of this blog post is not due to my being a total arsehole

I thought I also had a hippo blog to share with you. But the person writing that blog apparently thinks dead hippos are funny, and posted a rhino as a hippo. Clearly not a true hippophile.

The good news is, I created my own tumblr, hippopoalust, where I can post hippos to my hearts content, and my FTWFridays won’t be so saturated. If you enjoy the saturation, you should come over to the hippo side – and rest assured I will not confuse hippos with rhinos, elephants, or handbags.

I should probably start writing some other posts between these “look what i found on the internets” posts huh? I’ll work on that. But until then, I have lots of lovelies for you this week.

I know I know, I missed last Friday. I was going to do it at the airport… but I didn’t. I have no excuse
And you’d think I would have a bunch of stuff this week as a consequence, but I really don’t. So it’s probably a good thing I was a bad bad blogger last week.

I adore this shirt, but I am having a hard time justifying paying more for shipping that the cost of the shirt. It’s a psychological thing. Let that be a lesson to you online sellers. If the shirt was 12 and the shipping was 4, I’d have bought it by now.
